Jake Paul Fight

Results of the fight: Joshua defeats Paul at the Kaseya Center in Miami on Friday. Former unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua stopped Jake Paul, giving him his second career defeat and first via knockout.

Originally, Jake Paul was slated to compete against lightweight champion Gervonta “Tank” Davis at a catchweight of 195 pounds on November 14. Following the filing of a civil lawsuit against Davis in late October, which claimed battery, aggravated battery, false confinement, kidnapping, and intentional infliction of mental distress, the event was eventually canceled.

Jake Paul (12-2, 7 KOs), who was knocked down four rounds throughout the bout, had just defeated former middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. via majority decision in June. Since his last loss, a split decision loss against Tommy Fury in February 2023, he had won six in a row.

Joshua (29-4, 26 KOs) dropped the rematch after losing the WBO, IBF, and WBA championships to Oleksandr Usyk in September 2021. Before Daniel Dubois halted him in September 2024, he bounced back with four wins. Baumgardner prevails in round six.
