According to public records from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office, his death was officially ruled a suicide.

For the past month, Lamarr Wilson, a well-known and longtime influencer in the field of technology, passed away at his apartment in Los Angeles. He was 48 years old. His unexpected passing put his followers and peers in a state of shock, which sparked discussions about the significance of maintaining mental health. The family of Wilson first decided to keep the circumstances surrounding his passing a secret, and it wasn’t until the middle of December that they announced that he had passed away through a post on Facebook.

“We, the Wilson Family, are heartbroken by the news of LaMarr’s passing because he had so many projects in the process of being developed, scheduled, and contracted with various technology and media companies that were requesting his expertise. He also had many accomplishments to add to his portfolio, as he said on social media. In addition, we have a great deal of affection for his management of Team Agents, as well as for all of the fans that he guided, assisted, or inspired,” the message stated.

According to People, the official cause of his death was disclosed on the 20th of December. Records made available to the public by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office indicate that his death was officially determined to be the result of a suicide.

The last time he posted anything on social media was on November 12, just a few weeks after he celebrated his 48th birthday on October 22. Wilson said in his final birthday post that he had shed 48 pounds and was “genuinely at peace” after a health crisis earlier in the year. He also mentioned that he had dropped the weight.

“It is my 48th birthday today, and I have lost forty-eight pounds! There is no reason why a health scare like the one I experienced this year should be necessary to get your act together, but hey, it did. As soon as I learned how to exercise self-control, I started losing everything on my own,” he stated.

“I feel good, I’m genuinely at peace, and a key is keeping people out of my life who are determined to disrupt it with their inner chaos. We’re not here on this Earth long enough to tolerate that. Don’t let that happen to you,” he added.
